A través de la Gaceta Oficial, N° 41.323 de fecha 18 de enero de 2018, el Gobierno Nacional autorizó la prórroga del billete de Bs. 100, hasta el 20 de marzo de este año.
Noticias 24 reseñó que la Gaceta Oficial detalla, que la vigencia del billete abarca a todo el territorio nacional. La resolución expresa lo siguiente:
DECRETO N° 02 EN EL MARCO DEL ESTADO DE EXCEPCIÓN Y DE EMERGENCIA ECONÓMICA, MEDIANTE EL CUAL SE PRORROGA HASTA EL 20 DE MARZO DEL AÑO 2018, SÓLO EN EL TERRITORIO VENEZOLANO, LA CIRCULACIÓN Y VIGENCIA DE LOS BILLETES DE CIEN BOLÍVARES (Bs. 100) EMITIDOS POR EL BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA.
